Android?

I've been thinking about getting into Android development.
I recall before that Torque was well-suited for several platforms, and there was version of it for iOS and consoles. (However, I no longer see this information being advertised on the main page.) I don' recall if it has been successfully ported to Android or not.
So quite simply, does Torque work with Android? (Either 3D or 2D, but my first thought is about 3D.) Since I have *some* experience with Torque, I feel that I'd like to start with it if I can.

Torque 3D isn't as cross-platform as it used to be, it changed from OpenGL to Direct3D and this caused the MacOS and Linux support to drop off. Since going to MIT (free) Torque 3D has been getting some love for the Linux and MacOS, I am not completely sure the status of them are but that is what is happening at the moment.
Support for Android with Torque 3D is currently out of the question.
Torque 2D, I believe had a kickstarter to get it to support Android. But I think it failed, but the community maybe working on it. Check in with the Torque 2D forum, that is your best bet.
It did indeed fail unfortunately.
