noexe for T3D 3.0 generatedProject

by Kory Imaginism · in Torque 3D Beginner · 05/08/2013 (10:38 am) · 4 replies

I didn't download 2.0. I had a few projects that I had started with the 1.2 build and just never got around to porting it. Now that 3.0 is released I would like to port my project but upon creating a new project, there was not DLL's or and exe created for the project. Maybe I did something wrong with the set up but I would like to know how would I get the DLL's and exe to show. Can somebody point me in the right direction?

Thanks

You have to compile the new project.

Quote: from the README.md:
The templates included with Torque 3D provide a starting point for your project. Once we have created our own project based on a template we may then compile an executable and begin work on our game.
The actual 3.0 release will have a precompiled package when it is ready.

Michael, Thanks. I must have over looked that part. I seen a few hours ago 3.0 was added but I didn't see a precompilied package. I guess it will be up when the official 3.0 announcement is posted.
