Hello, Developers (aspiring and professional)!

A couple years ago I posted on this forum asking how indie game developers, aspiring developers, developers-in-training or study, or anyone who wants to be involved in making games can connect. See this thread:

We had a great discussion about game development and even proposed creating "Facebook"-like website where people can connect. Unfortunately, I did not have the time or resources to develop such a Utopia. However, having finished a few game development contracts I decided to revisit that idea and would like to announce that such a site is now open for members. The site is completely functional, though it is in the process of a face-lift (aesthetic--meaning artistic--modifications).

This site is part of an educational Indie Game Development studio called Cinnaptix. The actual game developer community is separate from the studio but accessed through the studio's portal:

http://cinnaptix.com

I think this is a great idea and an amazing place for all types of game developers to connect. This community is dedicated to ONE thing---Game Development. According to sources, they even allow people to upload training videos, make friends, chat, create groups, a forum, blog, etc.

It is new, but it seems to be growing quickly. What do you guys think of a site like this? Is it really useful? What about the Cinnaptix community site---what would you change?
