T2D Android and Ouya kickstarter launched

Max Gaming Technologies has launched a kickstarter to fund an android port of T2D MIT as well as a port for the Ouya. Everyone who backs the project at $25 or more will get access to the port once it is complete. Everyone else will have to wait 6 months for the port to go open source MIT on Github. We also offer some support at the different tiers and the final Ouya port will be delayed until we get access to a console but we will give early access based off the SDK before that. We will also be porting the default toys that come with T2D as well. Any and all donations are welcomes, come help us bring this great engine to the android platform.

I have posted in ouya forum. I have not tried the others. I wasn't sure Linux communities would be interest.

Since we really want this to succeed and get Torque 2D out on as many platforms as possible we are going to offer Linux support as a free bonus. Nathan Martin (TRON in irc) has offered to help me (Tim Newell, Tim-MGT in irc) do the port. Being free there will be no support for the Linux version outside of the community as this is an effort by me and Nathan and not Max Gaming. We will however get the Linux version in the same state as the rest of the platforms. So help us spread the word to anyone looking to make Linux games so that we can reach our goal and expand the number of Torque 2D platforms.

Funny you should mention it - I started playing with this about two weeks ago, but I'm still just in the setting up stage because I've been spending all of my free time playing games....
