For 1.7.6, do I have to "Transfer to Studio" to get the version with source code?

I bought T2D indie a few years back, and now the download I get is 1.7.6, but doesn't have source code. Do I have to pay for an upgrade?

I didn't buy the pro version. The product page now says "one price" though.

I've exhausted any infinitesimal amount of expertise I have

Hmm. I was trying to say that if you were a really early adopter, you should have access to the source - no matter what.I've exhausted any infinitesimal amount of expertise I have

So later I bought the Pro version.
However I'd recommend you to wait for the new free TGB+iT2D merged product.
According to the rumors.
EDITED: If you don't want to spare 100$ that is.

I don't know how you got the Source with a plain no Pro version. I bought Mine also few years back and it wasn't included since only Pro version comes with the Source code, as the site says.So later I bought the Pro version.

Thankfully I have the T2D Pro version since a few years ago.

If the Free TGB+iT2D version is as watered down as T3D (Free MIT version) then I'm not interested in the new release. Thankfully I have the T2D Pro version since a few years ago.

If you do the Convert to Studio process, it will convert your license to Pro as well, giving you the source code.

Slightly off topic, but there is nothing watered down about the T3D MIT code. It is the same as the retail T3D except for the file headers were changed for the MIT license, the FMOD implementation had to be done slightly differently, and it now has a new Project Manager in place of the old Toolbox (which yes, does less things than the Toolbox but will have more added to it over time).

And just to stop the rumor mill from brewing. The full details of the next 2D product release have not been confirmed. All of my blogs have had a disclaimer of R&D.

@Scott W - I'm curious how you came to that conclusion as well. Scott's reply is valid. And just to stop the rumor mill from brewing. The full details of the next 2D product release have not been confirmed. All of my blogs have had a disclaimer of R&D.
