Trying to compile on OSX

I get the following problem, "Reinterpret_cast from 'const void *' to 'FunctionType *' (aka 'void (*)(EngineObject *)') casts away qualifiers" after trying to compile T3D-GitHub on XCode, changing the targets to 10.8 and LLVM I don't have 10.5 and have no option to download that version as the Base SDK

making it quite hard to even get the first part of the tutorial done, if I cant even get the base version before code-changes to compile

There is not currently a Mac version of Torque 3D. I believe that there is a fork working on one, but I'm not sure on the details.

I believe the T3D CE is close to something (last I heard was that the 'only' issue remaining was an advanced lightning rendering issue) but the news about it seems to have gone cold.
Edit: Was not able to find the mac branch, but the T3D CE thread on the T3D forum should contain information about the mac port
