When I press the "Package Project" button, nothing happens?
I downloading Torque 3d from GitHub and now I'm trying to test out how the build works and try it on another computer.
I installed DirectX SDK but it's still not working.. Anyone know how to fix it? Thanks

If not, do you have a noob guide to compiling it yourself? The one is that thread doesn't make sense to me.. In my project folder, there is no file for launching the game so I can't just "zip it up" and ship it. Thanks

Oh I see, it's no longer supported. Is there any way to pay for that feature to be restored? If not, do you have a noob guide to compiling it yourself? The Committee is going to be adding features back into the resource, but they chose to start fresh and new and add the new features with improvements as the release matures.
I'm a hobbyist, I don't do coding nor try to make a game. I generally experiment with everything else just for learning fun. Sorry I don't have any tips to put that function back into the engine before the committee makes it available.

I hadn't been to GitHub in the last couple of weeks to check but if you have the time,.. try seeing if there is an older version of the T3D available. it would be in that version. The Committee is going to be adding features back into the resource, but they chose to start fresh and new and add the new features with improvements as the release matures.

You should have an executable in the game folder inside of your project folder.

If you do not have an executable in your project folder, then it was not created correctly in the first place. All it does is copy from the template, rename a couple of files according to your project title, and run generateProjects. You should have an executable in the game folder inside of your project folder.

Unless I missed the mark on the question?

The executable is there Dave, But when a person is ready to package their project, the button exists in the new toolbox, but doesn't operate.Unless I missed the mark on the question?

There were some logic problems with the cleanup process that would have paused the release of the open-source version of the tool. But fixing one bug in the Toolbox had a cascading effect. Rather than porting all of the old (and cascading buggy) code, we started with a fresher template that everyone can access and update as needed.
