Old Business

  1. Review Action Items
    • Application reminder in art pack blog didn't go out due to delay in the art pack.
    • Reviewed Github's download API for nightly builds, will probably have to write an app that uses it.
    • Building instructions posted in the wiki and the readme.
    • CSA and Submission process finalized, blocked by final review by Eric
    • Applicants reviewed
    • Toolbox stripdown - Dave has the toolbox updated to the Open Source version of Qt
    • Doc landing page on Github wiki - Updated with building instructions
  2. Toolbox stripdown
    • Updating to load up in Visual Studio
    • Next step is to strip it down to just project generation
    • Tutorial will need to be updated to reflect the change
    • Name needs to be changed to match more what it does. Project Generator makes the most sense.

New Business

  1. Applicants voted on
    • Applicants will be notified
    • Announcement of who was chosen will be made after those that were chosen have accepted and have been brought up to speed
  2. Request Voting System
    • System needs to finish being implemented and tested
    • Some of the initial requests should be added to prime the pump and the community will fill it from there.
    • Announce the rollout of the system in a blog

Action Items
  • Build an app for submitting download packages from build server - Scott
  • Prune executables and binaries from repo once nightly build system is in place - Probably Dave W or David MB
  • Complete voting system implementation Dave MB
  • Announce the voting system Dave MB
  • Announce the new members of the committee - Dave MB/Dave W
  • Project Generator changes - Dave W
  • CSA - Eric review and sign off, pass off to web to implement

Great to hear we could be getting some new committee members soon! And it sounds like there's lots more exciting stuff in the works.

Thanks for posting these minutes after each meeting. I hadn't realised there were more meetings after the last blog, since I don't check the basic forum that often!

Well, I was so focused on another project last week that I forgot to get last week's notes posted. Those are all caught up now. The committee meets every Monday right now and I try to get the minutes up afterward as soon as I can.

I've got a sticky thread up here for collecting the minutes for the year. You can check that, or the forums for them later in the day on Mondays, or I might add a comment to the collection thread that it's updated so it triggers notifications too. Once the new members are brought in there may have to be a schedule change to when the meetings happen.

And to note, the next committee meeting will be on Tuesday rather than Monday because Dave will be travelling.
