Torque 3D Toolbox Crash
by Chris Laden · in Torque 3D Beginner · 10/07/2012 (11:52 am) · 10 replies
Toolbox keeps crashing when I try to select a different project. I don't get any error logs that I can locate. Running Win7 with Toolbox set to Admin.
Google search yields nothing, and I didn't see anything in the forums here. Any suggestions as to what the issue could be?

(Sorry for the late reply, but my net is getting flakey, and I lose connection a lot, recently. I tend to only surf for about a hour a day until the cable company gets over here to fix it)

Yes, this is 1.1 of GIT release. I can still make projects, but as soon as its finished creating, instead of launching it crashes. I can still edit everything as I can simply navigate to the project files and go from there. I was just looking to see if there had been a report of this, and if so, a fix or work-a-round.(Sorry for the late reply, but my net is getting flakey, and I lose connection a lot, recently. Actually, both. And to think I went through the forums and missed it. Pretty recent too, kinda embarrassed I didn't see it now. Gonna run through the loops on it, and install what could very well be the culptrit (more than likely the wrong PhysX version). I'll report back later and let you know. Unless I pass out (been up for the last 30 hours, heh...).

To be honest, I can work around not using Toolbox, but its a pain to jump hoops through the folders unnecessarily. That's just my opinion, anywho, heh.

Yeah, still crashing. I can load games and edit and play them just fine. But I just crash with the tool box. So I was mistaken about the PhysX (due to lack of sleep, I suppose, will be remedied in about 8 hours). To be honest, I can work around not using Toolbox, but its a pain to jump hoops through the folders unnecessarily. I am having the same problem. It doesn't occur if I if there is only a single project in the toolbox list.

I just had this happen with the latest version of the repo (which is strange because I have the same version in another location that is working correctly). It may be a problem with updating all of the different fields on the interface. Please submit it with duplication instructions to our GitHub issue tracker:

Use the project manager here instead of Toolbox:https://github.com/GarageGames/Torque3D-ProjectManager/downloads
Dale E. La Force
