Bounds dont align as set in 3ds max

hey guys!

I got a huge issue which drives me crazy right here...

As you can see I created a boundaries box right around the model - since DTS Exporter 2012 doesnt has any way to generate the box I need to do it manually...

my colleges tell me that their 3ds 2009 exporter has an option to make it generated and fitting perfectly...hm I dunno why 2012 exporter doesnt has that option...but anyway...

That is my box created...fitting really nice don't u think so ;)

but thats how it looks within torque sadly :/

I tried to reset privot points of the box - recreated it - tried anything - also I turned it 180° in the X Axis - mybe its just a sideswitching issue - but it isnt just that - the box gets thinner right away...

It's a huge time loss right here :/

anybody can help out?

Torque can generate bounding boxes from within the engine.
Unfortunately I can't help you with the 3DS max side of things but if you are satisfied with generating the bounding boxes from within T3D I would be happy to help with that.

Charlie,

What I think is happening is your X-Form is getting messed up somewhere along the way. I am assuming your model is all one polygonal mesh, if so select the model, go to the utilities panel and add a Reset XForm to it. Go back to the modifier panel, collapse it back down to a polymesh. Do the same for your bounding box and try the exporter again. I have had this happen a couple of times and resetting the xForm usually corrects it. If that does not work then I would need to see the MAX file in order see what is going on.

the XForm solution just worked fine - forgot about that important thingie when it comes to exporting stuff
