Can you please fix the link on this site
http://www.garagegames.com/community/forums
to
http://www.garagegames.com/community/forums/
since your server seemingly not handles the web communitation properly and sends users to a under construction site if the / is omitted

I can't replicate this. I get the forums regardless of using a trailing slash. What browser are you using?

I've been seeing the same thing. (Under construction page). I'm using firefox on a Mac.

If I add the final slash
http://www.garagegames.com/community/
It works.
I had this as my home page, and have been seeing that under construction page for quite a while.

It also may be problematic if you were using ip forwarding for it through our dark akamai period several years ago.

Both are working for me. If you clear your cache and cookies, are you still seeing it. It may be cached from when we did the server update. It also may be problematic if you were using ip forwarding for it through our dark akamai period several years ago.
