hi,
with this wonderfull release of the torque engine, i want to give it a try for a project that is in my mind for a long time now
i want to make a flight sim app using georeferenced imagery with a satellite images that i can have from my work . the satellite images are huge in size so without paging/LOD mechanism it's just not possible
now after trying the torque demo toolset , i didn't find any paging/streaming terrain pages
and after searching the forum i have read about a tse additional plugin (wich is supposed to do what i tryng to do), but i can't find it anywhere ;
- is this pluging not available nomore ?
- that the paging fonctionality has been integrated into the core terrain component ?
thanks and good day

I wish I had a better answer than that.

This engine has a ton of other features. If you want a specific one you can now decide if you want to implement that feature. The wider the audience for the feature the better it will be as more people will improve the feature. What is needed is someone to get that ball rolling. Perhaps that person is you.

@issam, I suggest taking a look at Ogre3D's paging scene manager and terrain and see if you can either rewrite it to fit with T3D or perhaps make T3D use Ogre. Ogre is MIT licensed as well so there shouldn't be any problems.
