I have had an overall good experience with the newest version of Blender. It has the Collada exporter built in. I have been successful in creating massive continents to simple trees with vertex paint applied to allow for wind effects, animated models, models with LOD, and models with collision. The only issue will be using the physX build of Torque which will not allow for an animated object to have collision recognized by the player model.
Keep in mind that Blender is aggravating on the aspect of the trillions of hotkeys it has embedded in its software, 90% of which are never used by most users in any field. I have been using Blender for several years and even still fat-finger an unknown hotkey only later to find out that it had caused some strange issue later with the model, sometimes forcing me to import the model in a fresh Blender file to continue work.

Very good info received from you..
I test it now, many user tell me to use the 2.5.7 version for export collada, don't have many problem like the new 2.6.x ..

Material/Texture problem? i have think to use unwrap software for make separate texture for the model created in blender...

Another question: the grid size for have like grid site for t3d use?

@Settimo,
Blender will work well when importing objects. It is a little more difficult getting animations with constraints working. In my opinion an older version of blender (2.49?) with the actual exporter worked better for a lot of things than the collada exporter. However, it does not support the new stuff either. There is a thread somewhere around here talking about a lot of these issues.
