Project Gert: Recon is now Playtesting

by Will O-Reagan · in Torque X 2D · 08/16/2012 (8:29 am) · 4 replies

Project Gert: Recon is now in playtesting on the Xbox Forums. I'm not sure how long I'll keep it in the wings, but a release does look emminent because I haven't heard back from DBP2012, ie: I didn't win. Not winning makes me sad, but I'm hoping the reception for this sequel to "Moonbreaker" is good enough to warrant another game in the future. So far the responses have been very positive with live playtesters.

Man it would be nice to get a TX2D game to place in DBP, keep trying Will. One of us will make it someday :) I'll be submitting mine to DBP2013.

Just downloaded the current playtest

If you have any questions, I'd ask me or "Josh Nieder," the developer of Angry Fish. We're some of the few I know of using the Farseer Physics on Xbox Live. I haven't made many changes to the engine in over a year, been happy enough with my results.
