Packaging excluded file weirdness

I'm trying to tweak Packaging Advanced Settings to exclude the file
scripts/client/admin.bind.cs.dso
from my project's installer.
I tried adding the following to Excluded list
admin.bind.*
admin.bind.cs*
admin.bind.cs.???
Any of which I would expect to work but none of them do.
Is there something I'm missing or is this a bug? I don't think we have the source code for this utility.
