Jug to T3D - Migrating an old project

I am trying to revive an old project that has not been worked on for a few years. It currently runs with the Torque Juggernaut engine. The developers are hoping to migrate it from Jug to the latest version of T3D, and I am hoping to get some advice on that process.
Does anyone have experience with this migration process, know what would be necessary, involved, or tricky about it, or what would be the best method for achieving it? Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Thanks David! It appears that the version number is 14064? Hope that is right, can't seem to find any other indication of a version. I am working with Mad Otter Games and this was the version of Jug they had the project previously running with. Thanks again, it would be great to have some advice on this!

Does this seem like a reasonable approach, or a hopeless one? Any thoughts appreciated, thanks much!

There are lots of small differences in the file structures and many of the engine modules. My current approach is to start with a new project with the 'empty' template in T3D, then to try plugging in the pieces from the old project and engine into the new ones. From there, try to work backwards until everything fits together again and compiles.Does this seem like a reasonable approach, or a hopeless one? Any thoughts appreciated, thanks much!
