Private Forums Viewable Using Google Cache?

Somebody on irc just mentioned that all the Private Forums are fully viewable using Google Cache. Tim mentioned something about setting up bots to prevent that from happening. Just thought that I'd mention it ...

We are aware of the issue, and it is a design issue to allow the forums to be backward compatible during the redesign from 2009. We are looking into the issue. But fixing it may break every private forum bookmark or URL, which is why we did not do it in 2009. All of the links linking to other posts on the private forums would break.

I thought the problem was simply because the web site search is nothing more than a custom Google search and in order for Google to index the site to have proper and updated search results was to whitelist the Google bot/site crawlers.

Unfortunately not. It is a core design issue with how the forum URL's are organized and constructed.
