I know its possible, but I was wondering if anyone has tried/attempted to throw their game on the cloud using the torque mmo kit? If so, how is/was your experience?
Any input on this would be much appreciated! :)
Thanks

Sorry for the delay. The TorqueMMOKit folks hangout on MMOWorkshop.com.
We've virtualized a number of Minions of Mirth virtual world servers through Amazon and our own VMWare cluster, but found that they only work for development staging. Too much load balancing, packet buffering, and excessive hops in the network topology prevent a reasonable number of simultaneous players from enjoying near-lag-free play.
To get optimal performance for our customers we actually reached out to a number of Counter-Strike/Team Fortress clan leasing groups and asked them for co-location hosting vendor recommendations. We've found those vendors to understand the needs of long-TCP session service demands.
