Before creating video games and when I used to be a Christian, I made a board game RPG and it had a set of morals that everyone had to follow under the context of what we felt was appropriate. For instance We felt that adding magic, or demonic creatures from mythology was wrong. Is this kind of the same premise for Christian Game Developers? I am curious to what kind of guidelines and hurdles are confronted on a day to day basis.

Good luck to those running the conference though. Hope it is productive and attendance grows.

I've always heard good things about this conference. More than once I have been invited as a guest speaker, but sadly Torque deadlines or life got in the way. Now that I don't live in Oregon and I also have a newborn, I will sadly not be able to attend.Good luck to those running the conference though. Hope it is productive and attendance grows.

Dream - I'd like to see your board game. Each studio approaches the game dev differently. Even though a team may be Christian, their game may have little to no Biblical content. Others may have a more covert approach - perhaps the game is Christian-themed. Lastly, there are games that are overtly Christian (Bible lessons).
Michael - ahh, the life changes with babies! Much joy and much tiredness in your immediate future!! Thank you for your well wishes!
