ok i have not be doing anything with torque lately and will be trying to learn scripting

Projects:

Project#1: not really going to say because i will not be giving it to anyone but friends and family this project is to just to get back to torque

Help:

Can someone help me learn torque scripting i am young so don't be asking for how much

Questions:

1. Ok first things first i am using the educational version of Autodesk 3ds max can i use the stuff i make in that for me games?

2. If so can it make the models in to collada format?

3. i can tell you i will have one in the next 24 hours as i am coming back from messing with a site call Roblox kinda a game making site but way different!

Extra:

well i doubt anything will happen cause every one is saving up for there stuff but i but i will still just put this just to see if anyone is able to spare anything like $5 or something because i am 14 and i don't have a job or really anything to save

P.S. if you can only spare one buck keep it cause that means you have a budget to keep and just too nice to admit it but thanks for the thought

currently saving for the torque 3d update

Amount: $4.02

It will work fine, however I believe with the educational license, you can only use it for academic purposes, not anything commercially.

From the educational community website:

Quote:Free Autodesk software is for personal use for education purposes and is subject to the terms and conditions of the end-user license and services agreement that accompanies download of the software. The software is for personal use for education purposes and is not intended for classroom or lab use.

This is typical with educational licenses. Check out Blender (its free) or MilkShape 3D (pretty cheap).

i will suggest to stick with blender rather than milkshape 3d.
for your concern,if u go for t3d then use blender-2.48a-windows for exporting.there are issues with newer version.

for character u can try makehuman.another free python based app
