read title.
I placed DSQ sequence Dummies into the scene and set them up like I usually would do, exported to dae, ran the dae2dts tool as doc'd and I get 1 BIG ambient.dsq file.

# Convert to 'orc.dts', and generate 'orc_root.dsq', 'orc_run.dsq' and
# 'orc_shoot.dsq' (all files compatible with TGE, TGEA and ShowToolPro)
dae2dts --compat --dsq --output orc.dts C:shapesplayer.dae
& so I followed the directions;

inside of the shape there are several properly setup sequence dummies..but dae2dts ignores them.

Anyone ever get this to work ?

- I don't knock any of you as I know the opinions on forms of pedagogy are many and rarely, any are ever best for all. It's a very hard & mind bending job to write technical documentation.
To demonstrate my sentiment towards this situation;
I'd be happy to read the Art-section-docs once they are re-completed so long as my replies for corrections & extensions will be taken seriously..not necessarily utilized but definitely reviewed with concern for creating better docs.
I would do this to help the community.
- Tossing in a ~thanks to Eric B.~ in the credits would nice too. :P

This is actually in progress - there are tons of docs that have been around for a long time and they were written by many different people. With the new documentation team in place we're trying to catch up on this while keeping up with the new work we're doing. This should see improvement as time goes on.
In the mean time, I'm going to log a documentation "bug" for this issue. This should result in either a) the correct command line to accomplish the stated goals, or b) corrected documentation that does not include information on a feature that was intended but not implemented (sounds to me like the docs were written before the tool was finished). Issue logged as TDOC-399.
