why do all [my] resources show up as blog posts ?!

Every resource I have posted, first shows up as blog - not a resource.
I've asked many times, WTF AM I DOING WRONG -- but never heard a response either way.
Is it just "as designed" or am I submitting them wrong ?!
searching, I found tons and tons of this example ... where the first message in a resource says "hey, I created a resource why did it show up as a blog?!"
So - I'm sure I'm not the only one pondering this...
Can anyone else affirm this is happening and or what is the issue?

I've somehow done it each time, so must be something I "did" --- just no idea how or what I did wrong.
as an example, see my last resource/blog post.
I started in the resource section and clicked "add resource", that went to "submit a resource" page ... where I filled in all the details. (might have taken me an hour or two, if that matters?)
Then I hit "preview" and then was asked to resize my display image (which never seemed to make it to the finished post - it was a black background with text "how to make free space skybox" in it)
Come to think of it, it seems everytime it messed up -- was when I tried loading a custom image. Maybe just a coincidence though.
And finally, reviewed and submitted the resource.
here is where it was until recently:
www.garagegames.com/community/blogs/view/21552
and now, its under resources here;

I'm assuming Chris fixed it ?
Maybe these other examples might be of some use;

I saw this as a bug a while back when posting a Resource through the initial use of the "More" button on either the Blog or Resource main page. But when using the "Add a Resource" button on the Resources page it all submitted fine. There were a couple Resources that I ended up having to edit in order to have the Preview image show up correctly.

Good point, very likely thats what I did each time ... I'll keep in mind next time around and see if it makes the difference.

It showed directly as a Resource not a blog

@Michael - I think that did it! I just submitted a new resource and instead of "MORE -> Add Resource" ... I used the "Add Resource" button.It showed directly as a Resource not a blog

I have no idea how, but you are. Make sure you select an engine or something ... just ... OPTIONS! SELECT OPTIONS! But NOT the one marked as "Post Blog".
