Creating a video

Does anyone know of any products used to create game trailers for commercial games? I can't think of the term used to describe this right now. My first response is to say video capturing.

@John Colgrove: I would recommend using Fraps to capture in-game footage.

If you're using a Mac, you can try iShowU. Decent quality.
