I hope to help everyone in the community with this Thread!
As a I search the net for anything I think will help us here in the Torque Community I read, check screen shots and films, and try to find stuff that would improve quality or efficiency, as well stuff that is affordable to users like me who can't afford a lot of $$$ for a program, only to find out you can't use it ,understand ,or learn it very easy.
To me helping the community find stuff to improve Torque or use with it, help Grow the number of users and thus insures that Torque will be around for many years to come!
User loyalty to a product is something you can't buy, your software is either wanted or not, I don't like investing time and money into stuff that isn't going to last, but I'v been following Torque for years now (6-7?) and I think it's going to be around for a long time!
But no matter how good your software, if you don't have support Resources to go with it, then it won't survive.
Resources.............
Books ------------------ You can Never have too many sources of information!
I recommend lots of books!
Thomas Course Technology Game Programming series (Advance 3D Game Programming All In One Volume 1,2 &3) has lots of books on Torque game engine, although most are for the old engines, the scripting is all good information.
The Guild to Torque (located in the GG book section) book is a good one too.
So is Torque for Teens 1&2.
The big problem I'm finding is easy to use but powerful 3D modeling software.
Software------------- I'v used and liked or thought was notable,
Torque Constructor
Blender
3D Max 9 (If your a student they will give you a FREE copy of a lot of their software!)
MilkShape 3D
Google Sketchup 8 (Free, get add on tools for free, as the ones you really need cost $500! Pro version)
Photoshop
Gimp (great and powerful and FREE)
Torsion (I think a must have for Torque!)
I hope many others will post software I forgot or don't know about!
Thanks!
Mike

However, a few key parts that can fit in to any T3D game are as follows.
AFX2 - if you're serious about game creation more complex than pacman or castle wolfinstien, it is easily worth the price.
UAISK- a cheap investment to jump-start any AI in game. This easily saved us 6 months, even modifying the simple paradigm of the kit.
ODBC Resource- lets you connect to any number of modern DB resources.
The item scaling resource by Konrad, I may have even spelled the name wrong (Sorry your awesome man), but priceless none the less, as it enables item scaling.
Any large-scale games need to look at the recent scope modification for MMOs currently in the primary feed.
Also unfortunately, many of the current "issue" posts contain incredible information.
As side advice, use non-texture colored materials for anywhere you can to conserver memory.
In addition, as a last bit on incredible, remember the Webkit resources and theora modifications, truly great work.
