Mac Help

I have not been using a Mac very long and I am having some difficulty in using the Torque Game Engine on my Mac. I cannot get the shortcuts to work right. On windows, to open the World Editor, you press F11 but from what I understand on a Mac it is fn+F11. When I do that, the window disappears to the top of my monitor. Also, once I start a mission, I am supposed to have a menu at the top of the screen; File, Edit, Camera, World, Window & Lighting Tools. However, this menu does not exist when I run TGE on my Mac. I cannot get what I need from the menu or the shortcuts. Please help.
