Student Discount

Hello. I was wondering if any Torque engines were either free or discounted to college students. I am a student and would love to use Torque but I can't afford it right now. Thanks.

Right now we do not have any student discounts. We do offer free demos for Torque 3D and Torque 2D. What kind of price range were you thinking for discounts?

I was just wondering if there was a discount at all, because as a student I can get software like windows 7 for $25 which is a huge discount in the price. Maybe Torque 3D would be $50 or something like that. Thank you for your response.

I'm also a student, and military, I think there should be both a military and student discount. I'm looking to create a free game for public release, and I want to purchase some of the models but it racks up quickly and to create a free game with only my savings account as backing it's not feasible with having to pay all the other bills... Mr. Perry make this discount happen please! ^_^ Maybe give Joey and me free access (make us sign something saying we won't sell anything or w/e) for the awesome idea! :-D

Torque 3D is free... how much of a discount do you need? I can personally send you 5x the purchase price as a bonus for purchasing this free product.

What Richard said. In case you haven't heard, Torque 2D and Torque 3D were released as open source software under the MIT license.

@Richard... Alright smarty pants I'm expecting a letter in the mail with a zero'd out check. You just cost yourself 42 cents. =P

Hah - I'll send you an email with the GitHub project address - since my internet access is costing me regardless I consider this close enough to free. And a voucher for $0 to use in purchasing items from me when I have any to sell. That's double the value!

And, I've got a pile of "forever" stamps that I bought back at 38 cents.
