"Clamping" vertical scale for Megaterrains?

Hello,
Quick question here that I haven't been able to find an answer for, unfortunately.
Is there a way to "clamp" the height for a megaterrain in TGEA?
I know there's a way to do so for a normal Terrain Block, by setting the max range. But I can't seem to find any such option for Megaterrains. It seems to be determined entirely, along all 3 axis, by the "Scale" option in the terrain creation dialog.
I tried setting the vertical scale of each to .5 via the properties for each terrain block in the Inspector window, but that didn't do anything but "break" the terrain's collision.
The horizontal scale is fine, but the vertical scale is ridiculous, I need to bring it down by at least half.
Thanks for any assistance!
