T3D 1.2 Audio Issues regarding the player (FIXED - Not a Bug)

Build: 1.2 release
Platform: Windows 7 (64 bit)
Target: World Editor/Play Game
Issues: Player in New Project > Empty Room and Empty Terrain has no audio playing except a looping reload sound and the weapon sounds; firing etc.. No footfall sounds at all. Upon death there is a voice sound (default Orc grunt?).
Unrelated to sound: The very first shot fired in-game from a Lurker is delayed and causes the player damage.

About the author
I do terrains. Lots of other stuff too, but mostly terrains. I die in games more often than not because I'm admiring the view.

setup properly for sound to occur as well as the Player model, which the
default one should make sound when you set up the terrain correctly.
