Game Mechanics Kit

Hi all,
I am thinking of buying Game Mechanics Kit. I have T3D V 1.2
and I am wondering if people who have purchased this software
(Game Mechanics Kit) or GMK as they call it, have any Pro and Con's
to help me before I shell out another $95 toward my Torque habit ;) .
Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Sorry, I haven't gotten it yet, just got busy with some other stuff, but I am interested, I just wish the Documentation was better... I'm not sure about how the scripting works in this, I watched the video but how do you know what to edit in the script.

Yeah I didn't mean that to sound like it was directed at you, Michael. I was kinda hoping someone who has been using GMK would see this and comment. I'm probably going to pick it up anyway. Just thought I'd check first, just in case.

OH no I didn't think that at all! I agree with you I would love some reviews and comments/ critisation on this product before I spend my $100 on it too. Not to single this product out I think Reviews would be a good thing for All the Products. I may Add a Product / Add On Review section to my Web Site when Finished! Thanks

I don't know if the GMK is even still alive in any form. Very unprofessionally handled.

Pfft.... I ended up just buying the UAISK. I'm not sure if I'm missing out on other (non AI) stuff, but at least that product (which is awesome by the way!) is actively supported and extensively documented. I don't know if the GMK is even still alive in any form. Very unprofessionally handled.

I heard the steering committee is looking for a way to add certain things to the core engine. Not for sure if they really are or not but some of the things GMK has to offer would be great in the engines core but I guess we'll have to wait.
Anyways if you still looking to test it out it's free now, so you wouldn't have to worry about shelling out the $95 dollars for it. BTW if either does decide to try and have any luck getting it compiled in 3.0 please share what and how you did it. There are a few of us that has been having issues getting working in 3.0.
Thanks

I know this thread is a bit old but now it's MIT open source so both of you can go try it out but be advised that there has been tons of issues reported with it and getting it compiled right.I heard the steering committee is looking for a way to add certain things to the core engine. Thanks for the Info, I'v been out of the Torque Community for so time now and everything has changed so much I'm lost. Lol
I paid for the last version of Torque 3D and Torsion editor, now I don't even know where I am in support and upgrade options... Is there no paid version now or am I just out in the open like everyone else now??
Oh well. I'll ask around some and try to find out whats up.
Thanks,
Mike
