Alpha Masked textures look horrendous In t3d why?

Alright, I have tried everything, every method i could find to produce crisp polished Alpha mask layers I have tested out my textures in unity, unreal, esenthel, cryengine they look great in every engine except torque! Is this just me going insane or does torque lack in the alpha mask area.
I have even gone as far as importing textures made by industry pros they should look great they have sound alpha maps but look horrid in torque3d.
can someone please shed some light on the subject.
thank you

Indeed, post some information as well about the file format and some other information about the bitmaps as well as the shader script. Chances are its in one of those two locations where your problem lies (and its likely more of something not being set right I would guess)

What I like about T3D is the multiple ways to render alpha maps. Under the Advanced area in the Materials Editor of your texture there should be a few different options to play with with alpha map rendering. You can adjust the alpha threshold manually or select a few different ways to render transparency (LerpAlpha and others, I don't remember all of them off of the top of my head). Normally I find depending on the texture or on the model a different alpha works for every situation.

While Logan and Bloodknight are correct that 'a picture is worth a 1000 words' hopefully this information may help:What I like about T3D is the multiple ways to render alpha maps. Seriously however, an example of both images and their results as a screenshot would be useful, maybe its just a setting.
