3D modeller needed for indie game [RESOLVED]

by Keith G Wood · in Jobs · 11/24/2011 (4:36 am) · 3 replies

I have been let down by my 3D modeller - which means I have a game nearing completion but all the characters are still the default gideon character.

I have a single character model in blender, not yet imported to the T3D game. In total I need 10 or 11 models to represent different characters. No special movement required (the default animations that come with T3D are fine - except I dont need the arms up in a "weapon holding" position).

We're indie, four of us working in spare time. So it has to be blender (can't afford licenses for other 3D tools) reward would have to be royalty based.

If you are interested, please contact direct: genius@the-wood-family.org.uk to discuss further.

Have a look at evolver.com/ if you're after a realistic style.

It was free for a time ... not sure if it still is ... and there was an option to export straight to a DTS with associated animations.

I don't think that you'd be able to get the stock animations working with a Blender model due to the difference in export setup with the bones.

Keith, can you post a little info about your game and some screens ?

Steve - that's a great resource - you are a life-saver - many thanks.

I only started looking at it 3 hours ago & I already have my first two complete & integrated into the game, and another part way through.
