@Thomas:
Go to their site:
supportcenteronline.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=1949
and sign in. Then click on the Online Support tab. Just underneath is a Downloads link. You'll now be in the Downloads section with a few links.
However, you don't want to look there. To the left is a Downloads tree. Open that tree list with the [+] and you should see a PhysX SDK 2.8.4 section. Click on that and you should be presented with the PC and MacOS links to the SDK.
Why-oh-why they organized it this way, only they know.

We did a test yesterday against it and 2.8.4.6 is backwards compatible with the 2.8.4.5 runtimes included in T3D 1.1 and T3D 1.2. So you can install 2.8.4.6 and recompile against it without immediately running into a crash. I do recommend updating the runtimes in your projects to 2.8.4.6 even though the included ones work without an issue. You can do that going to the PhysX SDK Directory/Bin/win32 and copying over the relevant .dlls to replace the existing ones in your project.
We're looking into doing a hotfix build compiled against 2.8.4.6.

The download for 2.8.4.5 is no longer up on Nvidia's site, there's a possibility it may get reposted temporarily, however 2.8.4.6 will work just fine. NEW: We recently changed the domain of the Developer Support Site to devsupport.nvidia.com. If you do not go to this new site and recreate your bookmarks with the proper department number that is automatically assigned to this domain, the site will appear to work properly--but you will not be able to access any of the downloads.
NEW: A recent press release listed the URL of this site as http://devsupport.nvidia.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=1949. As with issue #11, this URL will allow you to browse the site--but you will not be able to access any of the downloads.
and i still cant get the page to display the downloads.
I will try back in a few years.for now im done with it, all day and still no dload.i have backtracked on there site and loged into every account i have with them in 3 of the sections to no avail. it is what it is. and it will be untill it is something else.
And there link on the start page dosent go to the devsupport.nvidia.com
it still goes to the old suportcenter address, so they are slacking.

"Dear Frank,
Your request to open a new customer account has been received. We will notify you with your support login information as soon as your information is approved and your account is created."
I cannot find any way to send an email to ask why they are not setting up an account. It just appears to be a black hole. I put info in, but nothing comes out. Do I need to wash the car of a VP at Nvidia or something?
Edit:
I just replied to the message to see if I can get a response to clear this up. I have not idea why I did not think of that before.

Here is another issue related to this. I have tried to get an account from them twice and each time I get this email and never receive anything further:"Dear Frank,
Your request to open a new customer account has been received. We will notify you with your support login information as soon as your information is approved and your account is created."

Apearently they are going thru some drastic site changes and its affecting alot of people, it seems there are a rare few that can still get to the download section, as was said but a post in here ,they dloaded it this morning.... ill give it some time and try again later. i have time untill 1.2 comes out, but then ill need 2.8.4.6 so im not even going to bother with it for now.

That "shrugs" thing you done, like its no big deal, well you dont act like, because its annoying enough for the ones of us that cant get it right now, then to see some one just shrug it off like its no big deal is disrespectful in it own anoying way.

nvidia has at least 3 different developer login sites with different joining processes.
#16
That's the link to the download, but you'll still need to be logged in with a valid developer account first to access it, otherwise you'll get an error about an invalid DeptID.
If all you're seeing is the PhysX Testing Guide in your downloads, then you're probably just not getting logged in for some reason. Once you log in, does it say your name in the top right corner?

well i cant get the image to load, but it the same as the one posted.
been there done that. ill just make a new acccount even though this one is active.
whats happening is ,i log a in and it reloads and say welcome Thomas, but the dload section is not reloading with my account.
I am not a idiot ,i dont need a picture to show me, i am 47 years old not 16. Thank you all for you efforts but they are futile. as i said i will recreate a new account with a diferent e-mail.and so ends my posting in the forums ever again.

11/17/2011 (1:33 pm)
wow, i was just trying to be more helpful because nvidia has multiple sites and has things missing from all of its sites. it wasnt clear what site you were logging into and the arrangement of downloads is more convaluted than it needs to be, so i was trying to be helpful.but screw you, enjoy your bubble...

this is the link to the downloads, you have to be an approved developer to get the downloads, how long that takes and how picky they are these days I dont know.

I downloaded the 2.8.x.x from there this morning so its still there.
