What kind of Computer Specs?

Hey all, I think it is time that I get an upgrade. I have been using a netbook for over 2 years now with Torque 2D (I have to say it runs perfectly on a very bad netbook :D), but now that I have Torque 3D Pro and the Zombie Pack and a whole lot of other 3D tools I need an upgrade.

The computer I am thinking of getting is the 2011 iMac, its specs are:

2.5GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
500GB Serial ATA Drive
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512MB GDDR5
Apple Magic Mouse
Apple Wireless Keyboard

Now I am not entirely sure whether or not this will be good enough for Torque 3D since I can't see a minimum requirements page anywhere (I know it is somewhere and probably somewhere obvious but I just can't find it :( ).

Will someone be able to tell me if this can run Torque 3D maxed out as well as future versions of Torque and some real good games (Crysis 2, Batman, Tomb Raider) maxed out and still running smoothly? If it can't can someone please post some specs that can? My budget is around the 1500 mark.

Thanks!

PS: The iMac will be running OS X Lion but I plan to dual boot with Windows as well.

the specs for Torque 3D are in the documentation, kind of an odd place to put them

System Requirements

OS: Windows XP SP3/Vista/Windows 7
Processor: 1.7 GHz Processor or better
Memory: WinXP - 1GB RAM/WinVista, Win7 2GB RAM
Graphics: Graphics: DirectX 9.0c Shader 3.0 supported, Nvidia 6800 or 7300 or better, ATI Radeon X1300 or better
DirectX: 9.0c
Hard Drive: 4 Gb free disk space
Other Requirements: Nvidia (AGEIA) PhysX

but that Mac should run fine if you install Windows with Bootcamp. As for maxing out the settings on those games, then it probably wont be your best bet since it uses a mobile graphics chip. you should still be able to hit medium settings and some high settings. but if you want a nice pc for the money, without building one you want to look at this Asus Essentio Desktop

Thanks! I guess I will have to get a computer similar to the one recommended or just build my own. But thanks for the specs that's what I really needed to know :D

Hey all, I got to some research and just would like to know what you think about this computer.

Intel Core i5-2500 1155pin

Gigabyte GA-Z68P-DS3 DDR3 Intel 1155pin Motherboard

Kingston KVR 8GB (2 x 4GB) SINGLE DDR3 1333

Seagate 3.5" SV35 1TB ST31000526SV SATA3 Surveillance HDD

Samsung SATA 22x Black DVD RW

Asus 1GB GTX560 PCI-E VGA Card

Just want to know what you guys think, if it is powerful enough for New and future games (Batman Arkham City, Battlefield 3 etc...) and of course if it is powerful enough to run Torque 3D on max.

If it is not as powerful or as good as you think please suggest any upgrade.
