F11 and ~

I have Windows XP Media Center Edition Service Pack 2 or something to that effect. All seems well at first. But in-game, the tilde (~), the F keys, brackets [], right shift, and a few other keys do not work at all. Is there a fix for this? I cannot access the Marble Blast Gold in-game editor, can someone help me?
