Why is the engine "Temporarily Unavailable"

Hello GarageGames,
what is the reason for that? Can we expect an updated version from GG?
Thank you.

@Scott: Why don't they just update the old version to the current CEV version (minus a few of the additional side projects). Would save all the new users hours of their time trying to figure out how to update to the CEV. Just a suggestion :-)

Are GG change the plans for TX, leaving for eternity at $99

@Scot: what you mean by "... we expect to be able to have it back up soon."?Are GG change the plans for TX, leaving for eternity at $99

@Aaron
That would make for an even messier licensing situation, not to mention it would give the impression that the CEV codebase is directly supported by GG.

We had to take it down due to an IP claim by a contractor that worked on the project. Until we get that sorted out we can't sell any new licenses, unfortunately it's taking longer than originally thought to sort that out.@Aaron

I was wondering what was going on, since I see that I can grab the Torque X 2D trial but not make a purchase. Was unsure if Torque 2 could run the XNA 2D Platformer add-on since Torque 2 is C++.

Your hunch is correct. The Torque X Platformer Kit only works with Torque X as T2D is built with C++ and not C# and XNA.
