Torsion not detecting errors

by Ryan Froese · in Torsion · 09/30/2011 (2:58 pm) · 2 replies

Hey, i'm new, and I just started my trial for Torsion, because i'm looking to buy it, but i've hit a problem, Torsion isn't detecting any errors.
Seriously, I can literally type in fauwhefoa anywhere and no errors appear. Ever.
And I also can't precompile, it just says "Precompiling..." forever and doesnt do anything.
I'm not trying to create games themselves, just modifications for one that I own, and dont plan on editing.

How can I fix this?

Have you saved and executed your script for compilation in the engine?

When I said im just creating modifications, I meant that all i'm doing is creating a project, and creating a single new script file, and editing that. I'm not connecting it to any engine, i'm just trying to use it for basic script editing.

Also, if you mean precompiling or trying to use the torsion debugger, that isn't working for me.
