Logo Guidelines do not cover my app experience

Hi Guys;
I have a question that hopefully someone from GG (or anyone who has already dealt with this) can answer. The Logo Guidelines, as described in the EULA, state:
While I have no issue with displaying the logo, my quandary lies with the fact that I do not have a start-up sequence. That is, my app goes from displaying the default.png to showing the main menu.
I do this specifically because of Apple's iOS Human Interface Guidelines, which state:
So, I'm inquiring as to whether displaying the logo in an "About" scene that will take place when a user selects "About" from the main menu suffices the GG requirements. If so, do I need to display both the logo and the "Powered by" spiel? I need to know before I progress with the "About" scene's design.
Thank you for your prompt responses.

Quote:
3.3.1. display the Torque Logo, consistent with the Logo Guidelines, in the start-up sequence of the Product (unless waived by GarageGames);
3.3.2. display in the "About" box or in the credits screen of the Product the text "Powered by Torque [Version]";

Avoid displaying an About window or a splash screen. In general, try to avoid providing any type of startup experience that prevents people from using your application immediately.

I look forward to hearing what your marketing/legal dept says, as i assumed the default.png splash that comes up while it2d loads was what the guidelines were referring to as the splash screen

Thank you for the prompt reply. I will move forward with the intention on adding the Torque logo into the default.png, per your suggestion, as that seems the least intrusive on the user.
Thank you

Have you thought about incorporating the Torque logo in your default.png image? That technically counts as a splash screen in my book. I'll double check with marketing/legal on that matter. If that is out of the question, then the follow-up splash screen is still a license requirement.
