I appreciate your effort in this Christopher.
..but when I see the number #2638, I pretty much kiss it goodbye.

SOAP BOX'N IT >>>
- T3D's GUI components are limiting..to the point of handing Picasso 2 colors..or handing Puff Diddy only 5 songs to ripoff for each album he makes.
- It's about squashing our integrity! Our potential! ..don't be that guy Chris. Don't be that guy. Give us some modern GUI components. 1984 called and told me it was bored with T3D's look!! ..and I didn't even know that years could use a phone Chris!! it used a phone! lol ;)

..Or just make T2D into T3D's GUI system. That would suffice. ;)

++ from me on this one too. Tried to fake it in T3D beta, and from one beta to the next the framerate plunged like crazy- bug reported by both Dusty Monk and myself and never saw an update on it. I wouldn't be surprised if it was still there, so if we at least got a dedicated control that I could work with, it would help make nice-looking GUIs...games need that sometimes...

I'm just gonna leave this right here, with the suggestion that integration be standard in 1.3+.

I agree that GUI/UX is a major area where Torque is quickly falling far behind, and I'd happily pay extra for Scaleform libs + support out of the box. Hacked in amendments to the current system would be a band-aide on a bullet wound, IMHO. (No need to reinvent the wheel!)
