see-through mesh

I'm rendering a t2dShape3d.

The problem is that when the shape is rotated, there's something wrong with the normals. For instance, you can see the arm, right through the chest and the other arm.

Any ideas why this might be happening? It looks fine in 3d studio max?

EDIT - This model also works fine in my 3.1 solution.
