Try this link http://developers.indiecity.com/ It's their developer link.

Their rates are you'll get 85% for the revenue if you use their Leaderboard & achievements system 70% if not.

If you are approve for their developer program, they already released an SDK to integrate into your games.

I've read 85%/75%..no big deal as I am sure there will be changes and typos.

- Have you used their API ? Do you have any experience with them yet ?
I suppose I'll sign up and send them a few games I've put together over the years. Why not!?

if anyone has anything to add, please do. To me; this looks different and enticing.

I guess its worth keeping an eye on but essentially its just another portal/distributor.

What concerns me is that if you make it too accessible you end up with an awful lot rubbish to search through to find something worth playing, but as i said, its worth keeping an eye on.

Another distribution option is always a good option, it'll be interesting to see how well this one works. They definitely have the most generous revenue share that I've seen.

I do wonder about whether the tech being peer to peer might run into conflict with some ISPs. Though it's been a long time since I've heard stories of an ISP indiscriminately stomping on peer to peer traffic, so probably not an issue.

Unless it has a really good 'hook' (something to set itself apart from all the other services), I don't give it much chance of surviving.

Distributing only indie games is an interesting start but, IMHO, they'll live or die on how well they can attract and maintain their community.

This is the second one in two weeks to come out, as Indievania just came out too.

Does anyone know if there are any earning reports anywhere for these types of indie-shops ? for the company itself or for games. (other than big fish if possible)

@E.B. Yes, I've used their SDK in a Torque game and integrated both the Leader Board and Achievements using their API. It's not hard at all to use their SDK, there are some issues but not much.

For me, I'm willing to try any portals that will sell my games. It's just better to have more options, I guess.

#Edit - @E.B. You might be right it seems to be 85%/75%

@Joseph, Nice I'll try that one with my games too :)
