Everything is crashing...

So I'm running into quite a lot of problems with Torque. I own a lot of the products here, and I've used them all before but I just got my desktop back up and running and the following programs crash on start up, or fail to properly load up.
Windows 7 Home Pre. 32-bit
Torque 3D Pro 1.1
-toolkit opens up and eventually turns into "T3D Pro stopped responding"
TGE 1.5.2
-Runs fine for a few minutes, or dies on start up with the wonderful "TGE failed to respond" or "has stopped working"
Torque X 3.1.5 2D
- Upon opening, I get "Torque is processing data" with the load bar, once that finishes, the icon appears at the bottom of my toolbar, but I can't open it or make it come to the screen. When I right click-> Close program, I get the "Torque X Builder has stopped working"
Torque X 3.1.5 3D
- Same as TX2D
All software comes up with Program Compatability Assistants "This program may not have installed correctly"
TGEA 1.8.2 works fine..
I'm really hoping it's just my computer, but I can play any game I want.. thankfully I'll be getting a new laptop soon so I hope that'll fix the issue but I don't want to wait months.

In the end i had to pull out the soundblaster because the cheap mobo i used didnt have a proper way to disable the built in sound.

The only time I had anything like this happen to me was when i had a new computer and I fitted a soundblaster card into it, the competition between two souncards one of which i had assumed to be fully disabled was crashing torque all the time, and only torque, was the oddest thing ive ever seen.In the end i had to pull out the soundblaster because the cheap mobo i used didnt have a proper way to disable the built in sound.

However, I followed the HelloWorld tutorial in the documentation that comes with the install and I can test and build all the steps except for the last part where the C# code is actually entered in. Then when I try to run it without debugging I get "Startergame2D" has stopped working. When I run it in debug mode it takes me to this line:
region: Private, protected, internal methods
Game.cs - > SceneLoader.Load(@"data\levels\levelData.txscene");
ArgumentException was unhandled. "Object of type 'GarageGames.Torque.T2D.T2DStaticSprite' cannot be converted to type 'GarageGames.Torque.Material.RenderMaterial'
Specs:
AMD 7750 Dual-core 2.71GHz
4GB RAM
32-bit OS
Windows 7 home premium w/ SP1
dual GeForce 8500 GT
