unable to open files during installation

When installing to my laptop I get the following error message " unable to open file to write to" and then the destination location. The following files will not open:

QTcore4.dll
QtGUI4.dll
QTnetwork4.dll
QTXML4.dll
torque3d.exe

The program installs all other files and the program runs but acts quirky and I am unable to access the source code.

Torque install ok on my home desktop.

any Ideas.

It sounds like your download got corrupted somehow or you're getting a bad install. Uninstall, delete the installer and try redownloading. Those specific dll's are packaged in the installer.

Thanks Chris for the fast response. I've un-installed and re installed twice.
I've downloaded from my acoount as many times to both my hard drive and a flash drive. I still get the same errors. Is there any other place I can download a good copy?
