Torque X CEV activations

Hey guys,

as you have realized I'm quite slow activating newcomers. This isn't just because I'm busy (and I am!) but also for security reasons. It has happened a few times that a person buys Torque X and asks access to the CEV, then a couple of days after that he ask a refund to GarageGames.

This is quite difficult to track. GG's people keep me posted about Torque X refunds, but they are busy as well, so it can take time and it might be overlooked as well, so I have to keep an eye over a couple of weeks on each newcomer's forum badge... but I can forget... I've my hands quite full.

Thus, newcomers will be granted access to the CEV after no less than a couple of weeks from their purchase date, this to reduce the problems.

I'd like to ask for access to the SVN of torque X and the platformer framework. I've own both products for a long time now. My game is finished and i need to port it to XNA 4.

Hi, thanks for upgrading the torque XNA, I've a TorqueX 2D licence, is it possible to have one for Torque X CEV ?

So what happened to torque x? I click the link in my products and tells me it is temporarly not available. Are their any plans to have it back up again? Also when I download the Builder it comes up as a .man file that can't be opened. Any info would be appreciated thanks

So know when i go to my products for TX and T2D it show license tranfer on both products at an additional cost. What is this about?

I'm interested in converting the license, but don't see the point when I can't even download it again from my products page. It shows as temporarely down and I no longer have it installed and would need to download it again. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't I need to have X already installed on my computer if I want to upgrade to CEV? I've been trying to get clarification on this from both here and the CEV forums, but have had no success. Can anyone please answer this in plain simple english? Would be greatly appreciate. Thanks

I am just coming back to Torque development and wondering if I can get the CEV version.

I purchased Torque X Builder, Torque 2D, Torque X and the Platformer Kit back in 2007. Is there anything else I need?

@Jchon: you are correct, actually it's better not to have the 3.1.5 installed as it's for the wrong version of XNA: the CEV is based on the current XNA version.

@Peter: I'm sorry but your licence doesn't qualify for accessing the CEV. Wrote to GG to see what to do ;)

Just after a little help. I am sure I did have access to the CEV site, but this seems not to be the case anymore? Is it possible to get it setup again?

I'm posting to request access to CEV. I'm not 100% sure if I'm allowed access, as I also was around a long time ago, had Torque X builder and Torque X for while.

those licences do not quality. You should contact GG to see if you can get a licence. Sorry for that.
