HP laptop question

Hey guys, im on the road 5 days out of the week so i need a laptop to work on my games with.
I saw an HP dv6-6135dx for 699$
AMD quad core A8
2 video cards, one 512 ATI, and one 1 gig ATI, the 512 runs normally for better battery life then when things get memory intensive it usues both for a total of 1.5 gigs.
6 gigs ddr3.
seems like a steal to me for a budget laptop. I didnt get to really test it out at the store though, anyone have any experience with it.
I mostly do art, 3DSM 2009, t3d. I think it should run those fine but i heard some bad things about hp laptops latley. I do have an hp desktop though, and it is amazing but ive never had one of their laptops. Any input??
