Posts gone missing

Hi.

I've recently started a thread in the Torque 3D private forums, asking for help with the installation. Debug info on my computer eventually prompted me to uninstall PHP and try again, which solved the problem.

I posted a message to this effect. The message appeared to be there. Then it was gone.

Then somebody posted some tips (still present), and I re-wrote my conclusion, submitted it, and saw that it was present. Staff added a post after that, confirming the php-issue.

Today, my conclusion and the staff note was missing. In their stead is a proposed cause/solution from another staff member (who informs me that the existing install of php is the most likely cause of my trouble).

I wrote a new conclusion. Presumably, it is still there. I wouldn't hold my breath, though.

So... They posts seemt to be at the server, but they don't necessarily stay.

I think I encountered downtime between my first conclusive post and my second, and I know there was a full day between my second conclusion and my third. I also see a thread about the site being unavailable (UK) every morning.

Reboots? Uncommited data/cache? There seems to be an issue of some sort.

That's the side effect of switching to the new server. If posts were made before your DNS resolved to the new server the posts got left behind. We've done some resynching of the databases but it looks like there's still a couple that got left behind.

It's up now but you have to look for it by the title since the ID number has changed. Everything else should be preserved.

Sorry about any inconvenience.
