The last 'official' word i heard was that this wasnt actually going to happen, that said, this wasnt from the horses mouth so to speak.

Even that didnt proffer any explanation why..

Personally I like the idea of a one of payment for a studio (of course i would i already have studio i wouldnt need to pay again :P ) and then the ability to purchase multiple copies of the torque products, including reduced price non-pro versions, not everyone on a team needs source, and since we arent allowed to have anybody help who doesnt own torque i honestly think theres a market for studios to buy non pro versions too.
