(what version are you using?)
Build: Unmodified T3D Pro 1.1 Final.
(what platform/OS did this happen on?)
Platform: Windows 7
(where is this bug happening?)
Terrain & Groundcover
(what is the bug)
It appears to be picking up false geometry from somewhere and extending out over the edge of the terrain, it looks to be at the average height of the terrain between this edge and the opposite edge of terrain...
(tell us how to trigger the bug)
Steps to Repeat:
1. Launch the game
2. Create a terrain (not a flat one, it has to have some sort of noise over it and doesent tile)
3. place groundcover
4. look at edge of terrain

Isn't this just down to the terrain tiling ... not that it actually does ... but -

well yeah, but what if a terrain isnt created to tile ? It also extends over the edge of the terrain... it grabs the average height between that edge and the opposite edge to get the height its put them at.

Well, I must say that is a bit disappointing. Also a bit disappointing on the lack of information on why it is still present or when or if it will be addressed.
