It runs around for me in a DSQ loop :-O..

Hi here :-).

I have a problem and hope for helps.

I'm sitting here with 3D max 9 and a complete 'Biped skeleton' for DSQ export. It works fine when I export it, but the animation loops. I wish to get a 'non loop' version when I export. BUT I have forgot how I do it in Max :-O.
Please tell me where in Max I set-up this parameter.

Regards Jan :-).

Did you add a Sequence node? If you have, click the Sequence node and deselect the cyclic animation checkbox.

Hi Matt and thank's for answers :-).

First and sorry, I'm not an 3DMax expert, so please tell me where I can find the 'sequence node'. One thing more, this is the complete animation there shall stop the loop and only playing one time, not only a single node.

Edit:
No I have not added anything to the sequence is not one I have made, but I already had from 'long ago', now used in a different way.

I think you need to read the artist documentation, http://www.garagegames.com/documentation/artist

You will need the 3dsmax exporter too, what engine are you using?

Hi again, I use the good old TGE 1.3 :-).

Maybe I expressed myself wrong, or I have a problem with my English? But I do not need an DTS exporter or a deeper explanation of how a player character in Torque works.

As I wrote: I have a DSQ animation as a 3D Max file and it works fine when I export it (of course with a DTS Export to Max 9).
All I want / asking for is:
How do I export it as animation is not looping, it's a set-up in 3D Max, but unfortunately I have forgotten how to do those things (I have do it before), this is my simple questions, noting anything else.

Also a 'clean' 3D Max operating issues.

Hi again :-).

After a long great struggle, I found the solution...

It was not an 'animation node' I needed to find, but the 'real Helpers' (remember to 'unhide all' :-D). There I could 'uncheck' the cyclic sequence and 'check' for a complete cycle. So now it's work fine, the looping has stop.

I hope this information can help others in the same sitiuation as me.

3D Max is not a program, but a religion :-O ..

Thanks Jan :-).
