would this graphics card be ok?

Hi everyone,

I am look at buy the Torque 3D but first I have to get myself a new graphics card my current one is defo not going to be able to handle it lol :p

I am looking at buying a
XFX Radeon HD5750 XXX 1GB Graphics Card

would this graphics card be good enough to run the Torque 3d and future releases :D

@Sam: Yes the Radeon HD5750 would be sufficient for Torque3D and future updates.

That will handle it just fine. I actually use the 5670 on the Mid-Range test machines in the QA Lab.

i am using intel's integrated grafics card.
so,i think first buy Torque 3D.then buy grafics card

What's your current card? I'm running a dusty old Radeon HD2900 and it handles the demos just fine.

Also, might be worth looking at the single slot HD5770's that are kicking around dirt cheap at the moment(XFX I think), I'm not sure how the price compares to the 5750, but the 5770 was always pretty highly rated as a decent "bang for buck" budget gaming card.

I have a 5750, it is a nice card. It runs pretty cool and it is fairly small as well, which is nice. The 5770 is only $15 or so more and is a bit more powerful if you are looking to get a few extra frames it might be the better choice.

Thanks very some think i will go for the 5770.

For every ones knolege they are around £80 or so :D
