What gives? $$

For a game engine that is not supported, I think $99 is a steep price considering you get supported products for the same price. Just stumbled upon the price right now while looking at the Torque 2D engine features :)

Over half the software ever released is never really supported, some of its useful, some of it not, the price to me seems stupidly cheap for what you actually get.

Consider it a one off fee for permanent membership of the CEV club, who as far as i can tell are doing a remarkable job of making sure torquex remains a 'current' engine.

This sounds like open source software but with a price tag :) Anyway was just wondering haven't visit GarageGames in a while and was poking around and I wasn't trying to offend anyone in anyway. I spend all my time at UDN website but still think GG is the leader when it comes to indie games :)

Its real cheap, I paid $200 not to long ago, consider yourself lucky to get this software at a bargain price. Support is the community and its definitely still alive and has an XNA 4.0 update :-)
